Clemson Caymols 4 Children’s
I am excited to be raising money for Children's Healthcare of Atlanta through the Touchdowns for Children's campaign again this year. For the past two years, you all have helped me not only REACH but EXCEED my goal. This year, funds raised through this campaign will go directly towards the Aflac Cancer & Blood Disorders Center. - A year ago, Matthew lost his friend, Eli, to brain cancer. Matty and Eli met on the Rehab floor during his stay after the brain injury and developed a special bond. - Before he died, Drew, spent many nights praying for Ethan, a little boy that he had never met from my sisters' community. I vividly remember Drew laying in bed sobbing when he learned that Ethan lost his battle. Drew had a big heart for those who were suffering - especially when it was a child. - Our whole family has been inspired by the courageous battle that Christopher (a brave young man from our community) has shown during his recent diagnosis of cancer. Christopher has positively faced each challenge that has already been presented to him and has no plans to stop bravely moving forward with his life. He recently left for college. These are just three children that have impacted my own family through their courageous battles with this horrible disease. Eli loved Tennessee. Ethan loved South Carolina. And Christopher loves Georgia Tech, so if you don't want to contribute to the Clemson page, there are plenty other options! As we enter into another football season which brings both a huge sense of excitement but also dread as we approach the fourth anniversary of our accident, I ask you to consider making a donation, creating your own fundraising page, asking if your company would match donations, etc etc to help me reach my goal and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta reach their goal of 1 million dollars this year. The Peach Bowl matches every dollar raised. Thanks for your continued faithful support!
